Donna Wilson Pouffe

  • The Story

Two crackerjack Scottish women by the name of Wilson, one a Supreme Court judge and the other an internationally-renowned designer. One a historic figure, the other in the midst of a thriving career. It just seems fitting that one inspire the other.

The Donna Wilson Pouffe is a fanciful edition to the Bertha Chair, or a stand-alone piece for a reading room. The lambswool covers for both pieces are inspired by the hand-carved wooden shingles of the Brett House in Joe Batt's Arm, characterized by the imperfect and slightly wonky angles of repeating geometric shapes.
